ARNAV'S CORNER

This series depicts what 'growing up' feels like. The first piece depicts a youthful elk, living in a fantasy world devoid of fear, worry and filled with curiosity. Much like a child. The second piece shows the teenage elk getting a taste of the pressures of life. The train symbolizes a fragment of reality approaching the naive elk. The third piece depicts how the elk has grown into an adult. He struggles with life and as he walks the streets, he calls out to his youth that is no more. He has become one amongst many in a city, fighting for his space in society and yet wanting to go back.
